EmiratesSkills National Competition 2015

Under the Patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Supreme Chairwoman of Family Development Foundation and the Head of the General Women's Union, the EmiratesSkills National Competition 2015 is the UAE premier event that celebrates the outstanding Emirati talents in technical and vocational skills and inspires the young generation to get passionate about new trades and embrace technology-based career pathways.

The National Competition 2015 will showcase the talent of 528 selected Emirati youths that will demonstrate their skills in 40 categories in the field of craftsmanship and technology by challenging their peers based on the standards and judging criteria of WorldSkills International.

The National Competition is a great chance of discovering new skills and be involved in a “hands-on” workshops, get career advices on technical and vocational education in the UAE and meet with educators, experts and professionals of the major industries.

Through the National Competition, EmiratesSkills creates valuable opportunities for young Emiratis to refine their skills to the highest degree of precision and promotes creativity and innovation functional to the development of new economic sectors and a more globally competitive UAE.

EmiratesSkills role is aligned with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and contributes to the achievement of the UAE Vision 2021 by promoting social and human resources development and preparing the National workforce to serve industrial and technological growth in UAE.
